AutoSpray Systems Secures UK-First Multi-Site BVLOS Approval for Atypical Air Environments

AutoSpray Systems have announced a landmark regulatory milestone, securing the first-ever authorisation from the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to conduct multi-site Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations within Atypical Air Environments.

This approval marks a critical evolution in UK drone regulation, moving beyond single-location test cases to enable repeatable, scalable missions across various remote, rural, and industrial sites. By operating in Atypical Air Environments, AutoSpray pilots are able to deploy drone technology exactly where it delivers the most value: in hazardous or logistically challenging locations traditionally underserved by crewed aviation.
